Interchange Park, Bedford (Bedford Local Plan)

SP&D were involved in various schemes for out of centre retail development. We got involved in the Local Plan process to help craft a supportive policy framework. Rather than simply looking at how town centre and out of centre retail were in competition we encouraged the Council to look at how Bedford’s retail offer functioned as a whole and how it could compete with surrounding higher order centres.
