The Outcome

The site was identified as having potential for development in the Council’s Land Availability Assessment and was subject to more detailed assessment in their Site Capacity Analysis. In our representations to the Local Plan SP&D emphasised the significant, and increasing, housing need which the emerging Local Plan had to meet; that the site did not fulfil the purposes of including land within the Green Belt; that there were no technical issues preventing it coming forwards. The site was allocated for development.
